Introduction Buiting Advies BV

Buiting Advies is an advisory firm for applied ecology. While most ecological advisory firms primarily focus on conducting ecological research (often research on the presence of bats), Buiting Advies is more concerned with adding ecological values to existing situations and in new developments. Clients are often municipalities, housing cooperatives, project developers, operators of golf courses, and construction companies. The office is located in Spankeren (Arnhem region) and from there work is carried out throughout the country.

There are mainly three product groups:

• Ecological advice: That’s more traditional environmental advisory work. Which species are there, testing them against legal frameworks and helping to think about appropriate solutions in the context of spatial development.
• Liveable city: This is advisory work focusing on climate adaptation, sustainability, well-being and natural values. This applies both to new residential areas and existing built-up areas. The sustainability of the recreational sector is also an activity. With the new value, Buiting Advies offers an integrated approach to the design and management of urban public space.
• Natural evolution: products are ecological forest design, nature design and nature management plan (among other things for golf courses).
